Poonam Dhanwatey is an Indian wildlife conservationist known for her work towards mitigating human-tiger conflict and involving communities in conservation. She is the co-founder and trustee of the not-for-profit organisation Tiger Research and Conservation Trust (TRACT), one of the partners of IUCN’s Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme. She is also a member of the Maharashtra State Board for Wildlife and member of the Local Advisory Committee for Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.
